Piper recently issued a new Service Bulletin (SB) to address newly discovered cracks in the engine mounts on the Piper Matrix, Malibu and Mirage aircraft. There is a new and improved engine mount replacement if cracks are found. This is the third redesign of the engine mount over the years to address cracks in the engine mounts.
